Christina Grandoni-Barlow, MT-BC

Christina Grandoni-Barlow (she/they) grew up on the north shore of MA and attended Berklee College of music where she graduated with a bachelor’s of music in music therapy. She completed her internship in an inner-city public school system in New Jersey, learning about music therapy and special education in a district with a unique student services model. Christina has worked in a variety of settings including schools, adult day programs and in client’s homes and has a wide range of experience with various age groups and diagnoses. Christina supports clients with  person-centered, identity affirming methods that focus on the client and meeting them wherever they are, in the moment, to create meaningful interactions through music play, composition, improvisation, discussion and more. Christina believes that music can look different for everyone and that an open mind is  truly the most crucial tool to bring to any music therapy session.
