Music Therapist
Aly Strzalka, LICSW, MT-BC (she/her) received her Bachelor’s degree from Temple University (majoring in Music Therapy) and was board-certified in 2015. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2018. She completed her clinical work in pediatric, adult, and geriatric inpatient psychiatric in both Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. She has been providing music therapy groups in the mental health setting since being board-certified. Aly made the transition from inpatient mental health to outpatient after receiving her LICSW in the spring of 2021. She offers both individual music and psychotherapy sessions working with people with anxiety, depression, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and neurodivergence. She directed the music therapy program at her group clinic.
Aly works currently as an individual psycho/music therapist in a private practice setting focusing on anxiety disorders. Aly joined the team part-time in 2024. She will be working with adolescents with emotional and social skills in the school setting. She strives to promote wellness through a humanistic approach that is client-centered and nonjudgmental.
In her free time, Aly loves hiking, singing, spending time with friends, painting, and spending time with her cat.
