Program Lead
Sean FitzGerald (he/him) graduated in May of 2021 from Temple University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy. He completed an 8-month internship at a retirement community near Philadelphia prior to graduation that involved working with residents in dementia care and helping the community through the isolation caused by COVID-19.
Sean became board certified in August of 2021. Sean has spent the last year, post-graduation, working in Connecticut as a music therapist. During his time in Connecticut, Sean worked with children with multiple diagnoses, adults with developmental disabilities, teens affected by mental health issues, geriatric memory care groups and more. Sean strives to cultivate a calm, safe space in order to allow others to express themselves and foster growth.
In his free time, Sean enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, writing music and watching TV with his cat.
