I’m Rubber You’re Glue…
Remember the saying, “I’m rubber your glue, whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you” ? You could hear it in the school yard, a way to turn around someone’s unkind words and brush off insults. What if positive words stuck as easily as negative?
This month we had a positive post it note party to celebrate our team and pass some sunshine around. Meredith left post-it notes all around the office with uplifting messages and inspiring words.
She left the team with their own post-it note packet to bring home and spread the positivity. Meredith heard about this trend through a news story to rally against bullying.
Making positive messages stick
She tried this with her kids at home and said that it was a huge success. She noted that it really helped to shake some of the stress off of being a parent when walking around the house and seeing positive and loving notes everywhere! Take advantage of this easy but powerful way of telling those around you just how wonderful they are and share the love!
