Music therapy is an evidence-based field in which a trained professional utilizes music to encourage engagement and facilitate growth. The music therapist uses therapeutic strategies to help individuals accomplish their goals and address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social gaps. Through musical involvement in the therapeutic context, clients’ abilities are strengthened and transferred to other areas of their lives.
Roman Music Therapy Services’ Board-Certified Music Therapists use music in creative ways to overcome challenges with communication, understanding, or socialization in children and adults. With music as a bridge, we uncover an individual’s potential, creating new connections, providing successful interactions, and offering meaningful opportunities for growth.
